3M™ VHB™ Tape 4905 is a clear, 0.5 mm thick VHB tape containing acrylic adhesive. 3M™ VHB™ Tape 4905 belongs to the 3M VHB tape family 4910. It features a versatile acrylic adhesive and is commonly used for bonding transparent materials or when a clear or colorless tape is desired. It is designed to bond particularly well to metal, glass, and plastics such as polycarbonate and acrylic. Recommended applications include bonding transparent materials, attaching illuminated translucent signs from the back, edge bonding of resin-filled glass, metal, and high surface energy (HSE) materials, decorative materials and trims, nameplates and logos, mounting panels to frames, and attaching stiffeners to panels.
