3M Tape Primer AP111 is an isopropyl alcohol-based adhesion promoter used in conjunction with 3M VHB tape. It is a one-step solution for cleaning relatively clean surfaces and enhancing and accelerating adhesion. Achieve better and faster bonding of 3M VHB tapes with 3M Tape Primer AP111. The isopropyl alcohol-based adhesion promoter is a one-step solution for treating nearly clean surfaces. Surfaces must be free from wax, grease, oil, or loose dirt before priming.

3M Tape Primer AP111 improves the adhesion speed of the tape at both normal and cool temperatures. It bonds 3M VHB tapes to various bare metal surfaces, galvanized steel, and painted surfaces.

Since surfaces and paint compositions can vary significantly, each application should be verified through testing.
