3M™ Scotchrap™ Corrosion Protection Vinyl Tape 51 uses a high tack adhesive to form an all weather, corrosion and impact resistant seal for metal pipe systems, both above and below ground.
3M™ Scotchrap™ Corrosion Protection Vinyl Tape 51 provides excellent adhesion and good conformability. It has a pressure sensitive rubber adhesive. The flexible PVC backing has good mechanical strength and electrical insulation properties. It is highly resistant to UV radiation, corrosive salt water, soil acids, alkalis, salts, chemicals and variable weather conditions. It works for straight pipes, wires and joints in factory-coated pipes.
