SKF's cylindrical thrust roller bearings provide rigid bearings that can carry very large axial loads. The bearings are rigid, they withstand shock forces and take up little space in the axial direction. The bearings are unidirectional, i.e. intended for loads acting in one direction only. They are primarily used when the bearing capacity of thrust ball bearings is not sufficient.

The structure of a cylindrical thrust roller bearing is simple. Usually, the bearing has a axial washers (WS..), a housing washer (GS..) and a pressure roller ring (K..). Other combinations are also possible, as well as the use of pressure roller frames alone. For this reason, the different parts of the bearings are also delivered separately.
