Details
The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Hookit™ Paper Abrasive Disc 732U features 3M Precision-Formed Ceramic Abrasive Grain, a revolutionary technological advancement in abrasives. The pyramid-shaped ceramic mineral is designed to cut through the surface instead of gouging or “ploughing” like conventional abrasives. This results in a disc that lasts up to four times longer than traditional abrasives.

Now available in grits from 80+ to 1000+. These discs are designed for a wide range of surfaces in a variety of applications, providing flexibility and versatility. The discs are effective in a wide range of applications, from stock removal to finishing, and are suitable for a wide range of surfaces, including metals, paints, composites, gelcoat and various types of wood. The C-weight paper backing provides flexibility and is suitable for sanding applications where edge integrity is not a primary concern.

For best results, use the discs with 3M Xtract™ random orbital sanders. 3M offers a full line of 3M™ Hookit™ sanding discs that firmly attach to a hook-and-loop backing (sold separately) and release cleanly and easily. They can be reused for the life of the abrasive. In work areas where adhesive-backed discs may be contaminated by dust or dirt, or where the 3M™ Stikit™ disc may produce an overly aggressive sanding result, Hookit™ discs generally produce a finer finish than adhesive-backed discs.
