Absorber PETZL Asapsorber 20cm

Compact shock absorbers for use with Petzl ASAP and ASAP LOCK sliding ascenders.
They allow you to work further away from the rope, helping to protect the rope during certain work phases.
The shock absorber, equipped with a tear-off strap, is housed in a removable and replaceable protective bag that protects against wear and tear.
Available in two lengths to achieve the best possible balance between reducing the fall distance and the distance to the working rope.

- To be used only with the ASAP or ASAP LOCK sliding fall arrester as part of a fall protection system.
- Flexible webbing structure effectively follows the fall arrester
- Durable fabric bag protects the tear-resistant webbing from abrasion and dirt
- Bag can be opened and replaced, which facilitates regular inspections
- Limits the impact load on the user in the event of a fall
- Asap’Sorber 20/40 are designed for one user, maximum 140 kg
- Asap’Sorber Axess can also be used in a two-person rescue situation, maximum 250 kg

Asap’Sorber 20/40 is particularly suitable for minimizing the possible fall distance
Asap’Sorber 40 is particularly suitable for freeing up the working space
Asap’Sorber Axess is specially designed for rope technicians who may need to perform a rescue task.

ASAP’SORBER 20 and 40 energy absorbers are designed for one person and must not be used in rescue situations.
In rescue situations, the ASAP’SORBER AXESS shock absorber must be used.
