- Sorbix Universal
- Composition: Multi-purpose absorption granules made from calcined diatomaceous earth
- Flame retardant absorbent granules (melting point > 1360°C) are chemically inert (does not generate heat).
- Suitable for various liquids such as aggressive liquids, combustible liquids, oils, fuels, strong acidic and alkaline liquids and unidentified liquids. Also absorbs water.
- Also suitable for packaging batteries and accumulators as insulation. Works in battery fire control due to its high melting point and flame resistance.
- Remains granular, retains liquids even in areas of high traffic, has good penetration on porous asphalt surfaces.
- Heat treatment to harden the granules to make them resistant to breaking
