Aidian Hygicult TPC hygiene test

Microbiological surface hygiene test for determining total bacterial count. The Hygicult culture plate contains nutrient medium on both sides to promote the growth of aerobic total microorganisms. Hygicult TPC can also be used immediately after disinfection, as it contains neutralizing agents that counteract the effect of disinfectants. However, it is recommended to take measurements the following day from a dried and unused surface. This domestically produced product meets strict quality assurance standards, ensuring reliable and repeatable results. The results are comparable to those obtained with traditional plate cultures. The ready-to-use product is pressed against the surface being tested, a sample is transferred to the nutrient medium with a swab, or the plate is immersed in liquid. The plate is then incubated either at room temperature or in an incubator. It is convenient to transport to the sampling site at any time of day, as no prior preparation is required. The results can be read 1-5 days after sampling, depending on the incubation temperature.

A sample is taken by pressing the Hygicult plate directly against the surface to be tested, transferring the sample to the nutrient medium with a swab, or dipping the plate into the liquid. The plate is incubated either at room temperature for three days or at +35-37 °C for one day. The result is read by comparing the growth density to a model chart.
