The powerful, long-lasting, and maintenance-free brushless motor is powered by a Makita 40V XGT® battery. The adjustable speed range from the control dial is 3,000 – 8,500 min⁻¹, helping to match power to various applications.

Ready for AWS (Auto-start Wireless System) remote start function for the vacuum cleaner, which allows the vacuum to start wirelessly via Bluetooth at the same time as the machine itself. No need for a separate vacuum start!

The AFT (Active Feedback sensing technology) system continuously monitors the disc's rotation speed and shuts off the machine if the disc jams, preventing dangerous kickback situations for the user. Safety is further enhanced by a disc brake that quickly stops the disc when the machine is turned off. The restart protection feature prevents the motor from starting if the battery is inserted into the tool with the switch locked. Soft start increases user comfort. The Makita XPT system effectively protects the machine against water and dust, even in the most demanding conditions.
