Gap >e< is selected according to the operating conditions using a nomogram.
Materials
The Parker material P5008 is a polyurethane-based elastomer, hardness 93 Shore A.
Compared to other polyurethanes, it has very good heat resistance, low residual compression and improved hydrolysis resistance.
Installation
Mounted in a closed groove.
Seals are available for grooves corresponding to ISO 5597/1.
