Calcium gluconate gel

Calcium gluconate gel 2.5% is intended for first aid in the treatment of larger skin lesions caused by hydrofluoric acid. The gel is applied locally to the burn area, for example an area the size of an arm (approximately 9% of the body surface area). It replenishes the body's calcium stores and prevents the harmful effects of fluoride ions. The product is intended for external use only - not for open wounds or eyes. The product has a shelf life of three years from the date of manufacture
