The range includes flat steel squares and carpenter's squares designed for carpenters, offering different design advantages depending on the application. One-piece squares ensure genuine and lasting angular accuracy without tolerance errors due to joints. In the models designed for joinery, the angle rests flush against the end of the board or piece, which facilitates accurate alignment and ensures clean cuts at both 45° and 90° angles. An aluminum strip on the back enhances rigidity and user comfort, while a clear measuring scale on both sides, on the outside and inside, supports versatile measuring and marking. Steel squares are often hole-punched, flat, and well balanced, making them stable when placed on a surface. Many models also have 45° angles at both ends and a 45° aligned window to facilitate accurate marking. Phosphating and anti-rust coating improve durability and protect the tool from corrosion. Typical applications: - Marking and checking angles (45° / 90°) - Carpentry and furniture making - Sawing and fitting of wood and metal work - Construction and site work - Precision measuring and marking work |
