This transparent lubricant can be used in all applications requiring a polymer-based, flexible film for cushioning, sound dampening, and protection. When applied to unencased gears, load-bearing surfaces of chain drive devices, steel wire winches, metal forming presses, etc., it does not sling off or squeeze out like conventional oils and greases. It is particularly effective in surface lubrication applications where discoloration and staining of equipment or the material being processed is a concern. It forms a separate wear protection shield that stays in place even under the highest pressures.
