Containing Chesterton's proprietary blend of very fine inorganic solid lubricants in a non-clogging and ash-free synthetic carrier, 785 can be used in extremely harsh temperature and pressure conditions to facilitate the assembly and disassembly of parts. It does not contain toxic heavy metals. It protects installed components from corrosion and prevents the effects of moisture, steam, seawater, high temperatures, and corrosive chemicals. A food-grade version of 785FG is also available.
