Class 1 Tape Measures

Class 1 tape measures in this group are designed for precision measurement tasks where the reliability of the measurement result is of primary importance. The range includes various lengths of tape measures, but they all share Class 1 accuracy, which offers better measurement precision than the commonly used Class 2. Class 1 accuracy means that the allowable measurement deviation is very small.

In practice, this is at most about:
±0.1 mm over a distance of 1 metre
±0.2 mm over 2 metres
±0.3 mm at 5 metres
±0.4 mm at 10 metres
(according to the EN ISO / MID tape measure directive)

This makes Class 1 tape measures ideal for finishing work, precision installations, and other situations requiring tight tolerances.
