Coated bearings
The unique coating on either the inner or outer ring of the bearings prevents electric current from passing through the bearing. This provides a cost-effective protection against electrical erosion compared to many other insulation methods. Coated bearings are used, for example, to protect against damage caused by electric current in applications such as electric motors and generators.
