Cordless Recipro Saw DJR187T

DJR187 is Makita's first reciprocating saw equipped with a brushless motor. The brushless motor is energy-efficient and compact – about 30 percent smaller and lighter compared to traditional brushed motors. As the name suggests, the brushless motor has no brushes creating friction and heat, making it maintenance-free and significantly longer-lasting compared to brushed motors.

Thanks to Makita's Li-ion batteries and the low-energy consuming brushless motor, the DJR187 operates for extended periods without the need for constant battery changes. The machine features two stroke speeds selectable at 0-2300/0-3000, allowing for convenient adjustment of the cutting speed from the switch, for example, when starting a cut. A high stroke rate and a stroke length of 32 mm provide power for demolition tasks and spark-free cutting. Blade changing and response adjustment are tool-free. Additionally, the machine is equipped with an LED light and a hanging hook.
