Demolition hammer HM004GZ01

A battery-powered demolition hammer developed for heavy-duty use. Suitable, for example, for complete demolition of floor casts and breaking through thick concrete layers. It delivers the same high impact energy of 72.8 Joules as an electric demolition hammer. The efficient brushless motor is protected against dust and water by the Makita XPT system. Standard electronics maintain steady RPM even under heavy loads.

Utilizes two Makita XGT 40V batteries, which together provide a substantial 80V operating voltage. Recommended battery capacity is at least 5.0Ah. The motor's rotational speed automatically decreases when the machine is not under load, extending the run time per charge. Operating time (trigger time) under full load is approximately 24 minutes with 8.0Ah batteries. The batteries are positioned beneath the handle grips, ensuring direct visibility of the work area. Additionally, two powerful LED lights illuminate the work site.

Chisels and bits are attached via a hexagonal 28.6mm HEX connection. Both collar-type and collar-less tools can be used with the machine. The Makita AVT system's counterweight moves in the opposite direction of the impact mechanism's hammer. The handles are also spring-loaded, separated from the machine's main body, minimizing vibration experienced by the user. Vibration value is 6.5m/s².

Equipped with the Makita AWS system, which wirelessly controls a compatible vacuum cleaner via Bluetooth. The vacuum starts and stops automatically in sync with the demolition hammer.
