Dial Gauge, Flat Back, ANSI/AGD Type

The Mitutoyo 2046A-11 is an analogue ANSI/AGD standard dial indicator featuring a flat back. The measuring range is 0-10 mm, with a 0.01 mm division and 1 mm per revolution, on a continuous ±0-100 scale. The dial indicator has a 3/8" (9.52 mm) stem to ANSI/AGD dimensions and a flat back for screw or fitting attachment. The contact tip is carbide, with a thread of 4-48 UNF. The measuring force is in the range of approximately 0.4 to 1.4 N. The manufacturer specifies maximum permissible measurement errors of 5 µm (1/10 turn), 9 µm (1/2 turn), 10 µm (1 turn), and 13 µm over the entire 10 mm measuring range; hysteresis and repeatability are up to 3 µm.

The dial indicator is suitable for general length and displacement measurements in machine shops and the metal industry where a measuring range of 0-10 mm and a 0.01 mm pitch are required.
