The Mitutoyo 2044AB is an analogue dial indicator with a flat back, according to the EN ISO standard. The measuring range is 0-5 mm, with a resolution of 0.01 mm and a scale range of ±0-100. The outer diameter of the dial is 57 mm, the stem is Ø 8 mm, and the contact tip is made of carbide, with a thread of M2.5 × 0.45 mm. The measuring force is approximately 0.4 to 1.4 N, and the maximum permissible measurement error within the entire 5 mm measuring range is 12 µm, with repeatability and hysteresis up to 3 µm. The mass of the dial indicator is approximately 136 g. There are no through-bolts in the body, and the O-ring seals the bezel and glass, limiting water and oil penetration from the front. The dial indicator is supplied with a certificate of inspection and can be fitted with optional limiter handles, a bezel clamping jaw, and a spindle lever.
