Mitutoyo 2044AB-60 is an analog dial indicator according to EN ISO standard with a flat-bottomed rear body and IP64 protection against dust and splash water. The measuring range is 0–5 mm, graduation 0.01 mm and measuring range per revolution 1 mm, dial reading ±0–100 and dial diameter 57 mm. The dial indicator has a Ø 8 mm shaft and a flat rear surface for screw mounting. The contact tip is carbide, thread M2.5 × 0.45 mm. The measuring force is approximately 0.4–2.5 N. The maximum permissible measurement error is 5 µm (1/10 revolution), 9 µm (1/2 revolution), 10 µm (1 revolution) and 12 µm over the entire 5 mm measuring range, hysteresis and repeatability up to 3 µm. There are no lead screws in the body, and the connection between the ring and the glass and the O-ring limit water and oil penetration from the front. The dial gauge weighs approximately 138 g and is supplied with an inspection certificate.
