Dial Gauge, Flat Back, ISO Type

The Mitutoyo 2046AB is an analogue dial indicator that complies with the EN ISO standard with a flat back. The measuring range is 0–10 mm, with an increment per revolution of 1 mm and a division of 0.01 mm. The dial scale is of the continuous type ±0–100, and the body is of Series 2 size (dial diameter 57 mm). The dial indicator has a Ø 8 mm stem and a flat back for screw or fitting attachment. The contact tip is made of carbide and has an M2.5 × 0.45 mm thread. The accuracy values stated by the manufacturer are MPE 5 µm (1/10 turn), 9 µm (1/2 turn), 10 µm (1 turn), and 13 µm over the entire 10 mm measuring range, with hysteresis and repeatability relating to measurement precision of 3 µm and a measuring force of approximately 0.4–1.4 N. The body has no through-bolts, and the design of the body, frame, glass, and O-ring restricts the ingress of water and oil from the front.
