The Mitutoyo 2900AB-10 is a precision dial gauge that offers a very accurate 0.001 mm resolution and a clear one-revolution scale. With a measuring range of 0.08 mm and a total travel of the piston of 4 mm, the instrument is ideal for measuring small displacements and fine mechanical parts. The single-turn design ensures that the entire reading is displayed with one rotation of the pointer, preventing errors that arise from reading multiple turns.
The gauge is equipped with an 8 mm stem and a carbide-tipped measuring tip, which is fixed with an M 2.5 × 0.45 mm thread. The body has no through-bolt holes, and the O-ring seal protects the gauge against water and oil ingress, improving reliability in demanding industrial environments. With a maximum permissible error of 3 µm over the entire measuring range, 2 µm over the tenths of a cycle, and a repeatability of 1 µm, the gauge delivers highly reliable results even during serial measurements.
