Dial Gauge, Flat Back, ISO Type

The Mitutoyo 2901AB-10 is a one-revolution analogue dial gauge with a flat back surface that allows the gauge to be mounted directly on a stand or measurement table. The gauge has a scale division accuracy of 0.001 mm, which allows for very precise measurements. The measuring range is 0.16 mm, and the plunger travel is 4.1 mm, resulting in a measuring range of 0.2 mm for one revolution. In addition, the shaft of the gauge is Ø 8 mm, and the measuring tip is made of carbide, with a thread of M 2.5 × 0.45 mm.

There are no through-bolt holes in the body, and the O-ring seal prevents oil and water from penetrating the structure. This makes the device durable and suitable for industrial use. The maximum permissible error (MPE) over the entire measuring range is 4 µm; for one tenth of a cycle, it is 2 µm, with repeatability at 1 µm. The measuring force ranges from 0.4 to 1.5 N, and the instrument is shock resistant. The weight is approximately 140 g.

The gauge conforms to the ISO standard and is supplied with a certificate of inspection. It is ideally suited for both quality assurance and measurement management when an analogue measuring solution is required for small displacements and precise measurements.
