Dial Gauge, Lug Back, ISO Type

Mitutoyo 2044A-09 is an analog dial indicator according to EN ISO standard with lug back and shockproof construction. The measuring range is 0–5 mm, with a graduation of 0.01 mm, a measuring range per revolution of 1 mm and a scale of ±0–100 as a continuous scale. The dial indicator has a Ø 8 mm shaft and a carbide contact tip with a thread of M2.5 × 0.45 mm. The maximum permissible measurement error is defined as 12 µm for the entire 5 mm measuring range, in addition, the MPE values ​​are 5 µm (1/10 revolution), 9 µm (1/2 revolution) and 10 µm (1 revolution), hysteresis of up to 3 µm and repeatability of 3 µm. The measuring force is approximately 0.4–1.4 N and the weight is approximately 147 g. There are no lead screws in the body, and the sealing of the rim and glass and O-rings limit the ingress of water and oil from the front. The dial gauge is supplied with an inspection certificate.

The product is suitable for general length and displacement measurements in machine shops and the metal industry, where a 0–5 mm measuring range and 0.01 mm graduation on an analog display are required. The dial gauge is used in process and final inspections in the manufacturing industry, as well as in jigs and measuring tables in quality control and measurement laboratories, where an EN ISO type design and specified MPE values ​​are required. It is also suitable for maintenance and repair work for alignment, clearance and travel measurements of machines and equipment, when the dial gauge is to be attached to magnetic feet or stands using a Ø 8 mm arm and lug mount.
