Dial Gauge, Lug Back, ISO Type

The Mitutoyo 2045A is an analogue dial gauge in accordance with the EN ISO standard, with a measuring range of 0-5 mm and a division of 0.01 mm. The measuring range per revolution is 1 mm and the scale of the dial is 0-50-0, the diameter of the dial is 57 mm. The dial gauge has an 8 mm stem and a lug back mounting for mounting. The carbide tip has a thread of M2.5 × 0.45 mm. The measuring force is approximately 0.4 to 1.4 N, the maximum permissible measurement error for the entire 5 mm range is 12 µm, with additional MPE values of 5 µm (1/10 turn), 9 µm (1/2 turn) and 10 µm (1 turn), hysteresis and repeatability up to 3 µm. The body has no through-bolts and the sealing of the bezel and glass, along with the O-ring, helps limit the ingress of water and oil from the front; weight approximately 145 g.

The dial gauge is suitable for length and displacement measurements in machine shops and the metal industry, for process and final inspections in manufacturing industry, and for measurement jigs in quality control and measuring laboratories where a measuring range of 0-5 mm and 0.01 mm graduations are required. The 8 mm stem and ear mount allow installation on magnetic feet, racks and various mounting jigs.
