Dial Indicator Thickness Gauge

The Mitutoyo 7312A is an analogue thickness gauge specially designed for measuring the thickness of thin plates, films, tubes, and lenses. The instrument has a measuring range of 0 – 0.5 inch (~12.7 mm) and a division accuracy of 0.001 inch (~0.025 mm). It provides highly accurate measurements and a clear analogue reading.

The gauge is equipped with ceramic contact points and a rotating anvil, which allows for the measurement of curved surfaces and deep protruding targets. The contact force is up to about 1.4 N, which ensures fast and controlled measurement without applying excessive pressure.

This thickness gauge is an excellent choice when a mechanical, analogue, and repeatable measuring instrument is needed for thin materials or pipe walls.
