The caliper is equipped with carbide-coated outer jaws (OD), making it particularly durable and suitable for demanding measurement tasks on hard or abrasive surfaces. The AOS inductive sensor maintains signal integrity even when the measuring scale is dirty, and the ABSOLUTE system retains the zero point in memory after switching on the power—so the caliper is ready for immediate use.
