The rounded nib jaws facilitate measuring inside diameters on curved surfaces, while the standard jaws are suitable for measuring outside diameters on flat and straight surfaces. The instrument uses the ABSOLUTE® measuring system, which allows the zero point to be retained in memory even after power is switched off, so the caliper is ready for use immediately without needing to reset the zero. This makes measurement fast and reliable without unnecessary initial settings.

This model is also equipped with an IP67 protection rating, which means that the caliper is dust-proof and resistant to temporary immersion in water, making it suitable for industrial environments.
