This Mitutoyo ABSOLUTE digital caliper with carbon fibre reinforced body is designed to provide accurate and repeatable measurement results in the demanding conditions of industrial and engineering applications. Thanks to the carbon fibre material, the caliper is extremely lightweight, making it easy to use over long measuring ranges without a heavy feel. The construction is highly durable, with an IP66 protection rating safeguarding the instrument from both dust and splashing liquids such as coolants. Measurement data is clearly displayed on the LCD screen, and the ABSOLUTE system retains the zero point in memory even after power is switched off, so the caliper is ready to use without needing to reset the zero point each time. In addition, the instrument has an offset function and a preset function that allows the initial value of the measurement to be set flexibly depending on the measurement need. The SPC data output allows the results to be transferred to quality control and measurement systems.
