MAP is a compression force meter that measures the compression force of a person's palm. It is useful in healthcare for monitoring a patient's recovery or assessing the success of a surgical procedure. The compression force meter is utilized in various healthcare settings and is used by physiotherapists, surgeons, and occupational health personnel.

MAP can be scaled to four different capacity ranges with interchangeable spring sets. The operating modes are four:
- real-time. MAP displays the palm compression force in real-time
- peak/maximum. Displays maximum force
- average. Calculates the average force from two consecutive compressions
- counting. Counts the consecutive compressions that exceed a predefined force

The MAP 80K1S is specifically designed for use by children. Parallel models MAP 80K1 (for adults only) and MAP 130K1 (high-capacity, e.g., for athletes) are available separately upon request (same price). Please contact your ETRA representative or inquire with customer service.
