Polycarbonate PC
Polycarbonate is highly impact resistant, and its mechanical strength in the temperature range -40ºC to +120ºC is excellent. It is easy to work with and has good electrical insulation and fire classification. The most common applications for polycarbonate are safety glasses, machine and equipment guards, glass for vehicles and boats, the construction industry, noise barriers and the electronics industry. Polycarbonate cannot withstand oxidizing acids, bases, solvents or water above 60ºC.
