Terrace screw 48X4.2 Protech C4
CAMO 345128 TX15 350pcs/box
CAMO terrace screws are made of ProTech coated carbon steel and are suitable for dry land terrace construction, including untreated or pressure-treated wood. Its classification is C4 (having passed the 1500-hour salt spray test), meaning it is suitable for conditions that do not particularly corrode the screw and are not under continuous weather stress. For commercial structures, near water bodies, in dock constructions, for particularly wide board dimensions, or for hardwood species such as larch, we recommend CAMO A2 or A4 grade stainless steel terrace screws due to their superior durability and load-bearing capacity. The 48mm long screw is designed for fastening boards up to 28mm thick in structures where the deck board is attached to another board, and the longer screw should penetrate through the structure. CAMO screws are easy to install using the MARKSMAN guide and the T15 Torx tip that comes with the screw package. Each screw box includes one of these tips, and its strong grip ensures a tight fit while screwing, protecting the screw's surface. The patented flat head cuts through the material and removes wood chips when fastening, allowing the screw to penetrate the material without splitting. The threadless pilot hole in the middle of the screw allows the deck board to expand and contract as it swells and dries in different weather conditions, such as in winter. Additionally, the counter-thread pulls the material tightly together, resulting in a clean and tidy finish, while the lower threaded portion ensures maximum holding power. One screw package can build approximately 11 square meters of terrace with 50cm joist spacing. The package includes 350 screws and a separate Torx-15 screwdriver bit.
