The 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 Fiber Disc 1182C features a redesigned 3M Precision Engineered Ceramic Abrasive Grain that takes the legendary speed and life of 3M™ Cubitron™ Performance Abrasives to a whole new level. Benefits include increased productivity and lower grinding costs compared to other fiber discs and hard abrasive discs when grinding steel and carbon steel. This long-lasting fiber disc removes up to 60% more abrasive material than the 3M™ Cubitron™ II Fiber Disc 982C, 36+. High cutting speed and material removal rate are maintained regardless of grinding pressure. In addition, this disc is designed to reduce operator exposure to hand and arm vibration, increase productivity and speed up the work, allowing for multiple parts to be finished before the disc needs to be changed when using medium to high grinding pressures.
