KTR's Rotex SH is a flexible wedge coupling with split poles. The split poles offer a significant advantage for installation, as they allow the coupling to be installed and removed radially without moving the connected shafts and equipment. The poles are mechanically split and connected back to their original position with a tight bolted connection. The coupling is suitable for compensating for misalignment. The coupling is also maintenance-free, so when installed correctly, it does not require time-consuming and equipment-stopping maintenance measures.
