Details
Rexnord Viva couplings are highly torsionally flexible, maintenance-free tyre couplings widely used in various industrial applications. The axial split-in-half structure of the coupling facilitates a quick and easy element installation and replacement without the need for disassembly. The flexible element allows for the coupling to adjust axial errors of alignment and to effectively dampen vibrations and jolts occurring during use. Viva VS model is designed for longer axle distances than the V model. The Viva VSX model is designed for even longer axle distances.

Properties:
- Quick and easy installation
- Element condition easy to observe
- The hubs may be installed on the element in several different spacings, allowing the same coupling to be used for various spacings.
- Up to 6,270 Nm rated torque capacity
- Viva V hubs used in the coupling are available in taper bore and finished shaft bore designs
- For longer spacing and high speeds a high-speed ring pair is recommended in order to increase clutch stability.
- Applications include pumps, compressors and blowers
- ATEX approved for potentially explosive atmospheres
- A complete coupling consists of an elastic element and two hubs (to be considered as separate components when ordering)
