The guiding white floor marker is part of a tactile guidance system designed to direct, structure, and secure movement in built environments. The product is specifically designed to support the independent mobility of visually impaired individuals, while also enhancing the spatial safety and comprehensibility for all users. The elongated guiding strip creates a clearly recognizable, linear pathway on the floor surface. The raised pattern, detectable by foot and with a white cane, helps the user stay on the guidance line and identify direction changes and key functions. The white color creates a strong visual contrast, especially against dark floor surfaces, which aids navigation for visually impaired individuals and facilitates the distinction of the guidance route from the environment.

The guiding floor marker functions as a floor element and is used for:

- marking and directing pathways
- guiding to entrances and receptions
- locating elevators, stairs, and restrooms
- accessibility solutions in public and commercial spaces
- indicating direction changes and route continuities

The product can be used individually or as part of a continuous guidance line formed by multiple elements (also available are floor markers that stop traffic). It can be combined with warning tactile elements to implement a comprehensive tactile guidance system.

The product is made of stainless steel (SST), with a black polyurethane perforated inner part. The structure is:

- maintenance-free and easy to clean

Mounting options depend on the application (the desired mounting method is defined at the time of order):

- adhesive (no holes or screws, drying time, removal may damage the surface)
- screw mounting (Floor markers can be pre-drilled at the factory, very sturdy, requires drilling)
- pin mounting (Floor markers can be manufactured with pins, making them very quick to install. Requires pre-drilling of the floor)
- tape mounting (Pre-installed 3M tape on the bottom of the marker. Quick and easy installation. Load capacity limited, not for heavy stress)
