This axe has a straight ground blade. The head is shaped to support your hand above the blade while performing carving tasks. The long, narrow ergonomic handle provides power for striking. It is particularly well-suited for forestry and carving work. The axe is hand-forged and made of Swedish axe steel at Hults Bruk using traditional techniques dating back to 1697. Take good care of your axe, and we promise it will last for years in your use.
The handle is made of hickory wood and treated with linseed oil.
