Renolin PG 1000 is used in heavily loaded bevel, planetary and helical gears. Wherever sliding surfaces are present, gear oils based on polyalkylene glycols have advantages over mineral oils: the reduction of the operating temperature of the oil significantly extends the oil change intervals, which in turn reduces operating and disposal costs.
