The monodirectional expansion process gives the material excellent adaptability to uneven flange surfaces, ensuring a tight and long-lasting seal. The strong adhesive backing allows for quick and easy installation without the need for special tools. GORE developed the DF sealing tape over 50 years ago, and thanks to continuous product innovation and high quality, it has maintained its position as a market leader. Storage: ePTFE does not age, but we recommend using the product within two years of purchase to ensure the adhesive backing retains its effectiveness. For applications requiring superior durability and mechanical strength, we recommend the multi-directionally expanded GORE® S500 tape, which offers outstanding performance at extremely high pressures and temperatures. |
