Heat Gun DHG181ZJ

DHG181 is a battery-powered heat gun that is part of Makita's 18V LXT® system and is ideally suited for various heating and removal tasks, such as paint stripping and heat shrink tubing application.

The temperature control is stepless, and in the first setting, the air is not heated, as the device operates only as a blower. Between settings 2-6, the temperature adjustment is stepless and can be set within the range of 150-550°C. There are two settings for air volume, 70 or 110 l/min. The operating time with one 18V LXT® 6.0 Ah battery is up to 22 minutes at maximum blow and temperature.

Changing nozzles is quick and easy with the quick lock mechanism, so you don’t have to touch hot metal parts. The on switch can be locked in the ON position for prolonged work sessions. An LED light illuminates the work area, allowing you to work even in dim light.

With the hanging hook, the device can be placed wherever needed, and it is designed to operate even when placed on a table with the nozzle facing up, leaving both hands free for work.

The machine is supplied in a Makpac case and includes four different nozzles. This is the bare tool version without a battery and charger.
