Designed for industry, construction, etc. Also suitable for confined spaces, asphalt work and other jobs where the heart rate increases and it gets hot. A total of 10 ventilation openings on the front, sides and back. The ventilation openings have a mesh, the dense structure of which prevents, among other things, snow, dirt and dust from penetrating the helmet. The honeycomb structure of the inner part offers significantly better shock absorption properties than helmets with a strap structure, and the air channels between the honeycomb and the shell improve wearing comfort. The helmet can be attached to a variety of eye and face protection. Integrated exceptionally easy-to-use fasteners for attaching a headlamp with a headband, and a holder on the front keeps the headlamp in place. Earmuff adapters can be attached to the sides. The harness keeps the helmet on the head even in difficult working positions, and offers excellent comfort. An adjustment wheel on the neck that can be used even with gloves on for a head circumference of 51-63 cm. The helmet does not have a visor that hinders work, strains the neck and limits the field of vision, and there is no stiffening groove that gets caught on structures. The chin strap has a Ring To Hook loop, which allows the helmet to be attached to work clothes or a gear backpack when it is not on. The padding is made of technical 2DRY material, which effectively transfers moisture, providing comfort throughout the working day, and dries very quickly. Kask helmets offer good compatibility with other protective equipment. A recommended choice for use with, for example, half-mask GVS Elipse respirators and Bollé Safety eye protection. Tested for head protection according to the following test methods: Mandatory requirements of EN397: 5.1.1. For absorption of a single object falling (5 kg from a height of 1 m) 5.1.2. For a single object penetrating the helmet 5.1.3. For flame resistance 5.1.4. For chin strap opening, it remains closed after a 15 daN (kg) pull and opens after a maximum of 25 daN (kg) pull Voluntary requirements of EN397: 5.2.1. For protection in cold temperatures (-30C) 5.2.4. For lateral compression protection (LD) 5.2.5. For protection against molten metal splash (MM) Mandatory requirements of the EN12492 standard: 4.1.4 For effective ventilation 4.2.1.2 For frontal impacts (5 kg from a distance of 0.5 m) 4.2.1.3 For side impacts (5 kg from a distance of 0.5 m) 4.2.1.4 For rear impacts (5 kg from a distance of 0.5 m) 4.2.2 For multiple objects penetrating the helmet (3 kg sharp weight from a height of 1 m 2x) 4.2.4 For tilt test (10 kg falling load tears the helmet from the brim upwards from the front and back) All Kask helmets also protect against brain injuries caused by rotational impacts according to the Rotational Impact WG11 test methods based on ECE 22.06 standard. Helmets are tested for impacts from different angles. Kask has defined a pass/fail criterion based on the general BrIC- Brain Injury Criter value. The risk of brain injury increases when the “brick” value exceeds 0.68. A lower number corresponds to a lower risk of injury. All Kask helmets have a BrlC value of less than 0.39. Maximum lifespan 10 years. Materials: Shell: HD Polypropylene. Inner lining: HD Expanded Polystyrene. Headband: Soft PA Nylon. Weight: 390 g. 3-year warranty against material and manufacturing defects. Certification: EN 397. CE. Country of manufacture Italy. |
