The pallet is particularly well-suited for automatic conveyor systems. Edgeless pallets slide and transfer more smoothly in automatic conveyor systems because the edges do not catch on machinery. The absence of edges also allows for the load to be placed all the way to the edges of the pallet, maximizing available space, especially in large logistics loads. The lack of edges further facilitates the placement of large or combined loads on multiple pallets at once.
