A robust jigsaw that is even more powerful than electric machines, equipped with a brushless motor. The adjustable speed can be controlled either via the trigger or the adjustment wheel, ensuring optimal cutting through a wide range of materials. The automatic load sensing feature raises the speed to maximum only when the tool is under load. Load sensing can also be disabled for cutting lightweight materials such as wind protection board, thin plywood, and hardboard.

The stroke length of 23 mm combined with a powerful brushless motor guarantees extremely efficient sawing in even thick materials. An LED light effectively illuminates the cutting line, and the blade blows away debris from the line.

The pendulum function pushes the blade forward as it rises. The pendulum has three settings and can also be switched off. The blade is easily attached by simply pushing it into place. Detaching is conveniently done by turning a lever, which releases the blade using a spring mechanism.

The ergonomically designed D-handle provides a very firm grip for precise work, and the Makita XPT system effectively protects the tool from dust and water. For prolonged use, the trigger switch features a lock button.

The underside of the saw table is made of steel, and it also comes with a plastic base cover that protects sensitive surfaces from scratches. It can also be connected to a vacuum cleaner via the included dust extraction attachment. This is the body version without batteries and charger.
