Jointed Magnetic Stand

The Mitutoyo 7031-10 is a magnetic stand for dial indicators and lever-type dial indicators. The stand features a mechanical locking system, a fine adjustment wheel (±4°), and a magnetic base that attaches to iron and steel surfaces via an ON/OFF switch. The working radius is 159 mm, and the overall height is 214 mm.

Applications:

- Mounting a dial indicator or lever-type dial indicator on machine tool frames and tables (lathes, milling machines, grinding machines) when the mounting surface is ferromagnetic.
- Alignment, straightness, and parallelism measurements in machine shops and the manufacturing industry.
