The mat is positioned directly under the cutting path to protect the rotary blade and ensure precise trimming or perforating. With 4 cutting positions—2 on each side—the mat’s usage is maximized. When the blade no longer cuts cleanly, simply rotate or flip the mat to a fresh cutting surface. Once all four positions are worn, replace with a new cutting mat to ensure long-lasting performance of your trimmer.
