A pilot hole may be necessary in the material being attached. - Installation in drywall or wood: the screw is driven directly into the material without pre-drilling, at low speeds. Pre-drilling may be required if the wood material's hardness demands it. - Surface treatment: yellow passivation. - Zn for dry indoor areas.
