LOCTITE® 278 is a green, medium viscosity, high strength thixotropic methacrylate-based threadlocking adhesive. The thixotropic consistency of LOCTITE 278 prevents any migration of the adhesive from the joint after it has been implemented. Its fixture time on steel is 20 minutes, 20 minutes on brass and 60 minutes on stainless steel. Can tolerate slight contaminations of industrial oils. High temperature resistance.
