Machine tap E422 M3 TiN

This is a chip-breaking thread tap, model B, with a lead chamfer length of 3.5–5 times the pitch (P). It features an ISO metric thread M3 with a pitch of 0.50 mm and a tolerance class of 6H. The dimensions comply with the DIN 371 standard. The shank diameter is 3.5 mm, and the square section measures 2.7 mm. The tool is made of powder metallurgy HSS-E steel and has a TiN coating. It is suitable for threading through holes up to a depth of 3xD. It can be used for carbon steel, unalloyed and alloyed steels, as well as drawn or alloyed copper materials.
