Material thickness gauge Sauter TN 80-0.1US

The Sauter TN material thickness gauge is designed for measuring the thickness of hard and homogeneous uncoated materials such as metal, glass, and hard plastics. The measurement is based on pulse-echo ultrasonic technology and is not suitable for porous materials such as concrete, asphalt, Teflon, or wood. The gauge can store up to 100 measurements in each of 20 folders. SCAN mode measures several times per second and displays the lowest value on the screen. This function helps identify the thinnest point in a material. The gauge is calibrated using the calibration sensor supplied with the instrument. A couplant is used between the probe and the target. The Sauter TN is supplied in a plastic box. Included in the delivery are a 7 MHz / 6 mm probe, one bottle of couplant, and batteries (2x 1.5V AA).
